The famous NBE (Nederlands Blazers Ensemble = Dutch Wind Ensemble) was by far not the first to urge me to develop a carbon music stand, but the urgency of their request (“We need invisible music stands  in three days from NOW for a television broadcast, one day after Christmas”) did give my thinking a boost. So now, 7 weeks after that request I am able to supply every musician with heart for their back, with  extremely light weight music stands.

I have decided to make three versions, one large, one medium and one small.

The smallest (mss) is a dedicated traveling stand, as compact and light as I could think of. Especially for musicians to whom every once counts.
The largest (msl) is a big orchestral stand, not specifically meant to travel with, but  it is possible, since the weight is 60% less than the old fashioned metal orchestral stands, (even lighter than the well known  K&M metal folding stands) and the packing dimensions are not more than the desk itself.
The medium (msm) has a mix of characteristics of the ones above.

The large and medium stands are available with unbreakable clear or black polycarbonate desk.
The large and medium desks can be used separately as table top music stand, cooking book stand or laptop riser.
The base of the small and medium stands can be made heavier with the optional bottle holder.
The small and medium desks have four (not just two) extensions in the corners of the desk. The lower extensions support your sheets both horizontally as well as vertically.
All stands have a magnetic pencil and two metal disks (left and right) under the desk to attach the pencil.
All stands have a hole in the desk to make it easy to charge your laptop, if that is what you are using.
